How does an ultrasonic Diffuser work?
A ceramic membrane in the device vibrates at ultrasonic frequencies, causing the water in the tank to oscillate. This creates tiny water droplets which, together with the added fragrance oil, rise into the room's air as a fine mist. The effect is immediately visible – and smellable.
One key difference from the Nebulizer is that the fragrance oil is diluted with water. This results in a gentler, less intense scent — which can be a definite advantage for people with sensitive noses or in small rooms.
Buying the Ultraschall-Diffuser: what to look out for
